The Payments Product team is responsible for the entire payments platform and managing the product life cycle of new products from product design, build, deployment, and objective achievement. As Payments Product leader you will be responsible for leading a team in shaping and driving the overall strategy for Payments products. The Payment Product leader will be responsible for defining product roadmaps and mid to long term business goals and objectives and oversee all planning, scoping and prioritization activities.


Additional responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various Shift4 departments, including Technology, UX, Data Science, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Risk.
  • Develop solutions to problems by collaborating as needed across regions, product areas, and functions.
  • Understand markets and competitors in depth with ability to deliver competitive analysis and guide go-to-market efforts to capitalize on product strengths and user requirements in depth.
  • Internal and external product evangelist with ability to build consensus with executives, colleagues, and third parties.
  • Work with program management to communicate project status, resolve issues, and ensure that high quality products are delivered on time.
  • Develop launch plans, ensure readiness of the various stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills and the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly.



  • Experience: 7+ years of product management responsibilities at a scaled, modern payments company.
  • Analytics: Ability to leverage data to make informed decisions that can be clearly articulated.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead a team of product managers and UX professionals toward achievement of defines objectives and goals.
  • Grit: Demonstrate a whatever-it-takes attitude to ensure that your product and team are successful.
  • Collaboration: Track record of delivering results across cross-functional teams with ability to lead by influence.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: You're a “fire starter” with ability to deliver from ideation to launched product.
