Merchant Relations Supervisor

 

Merchant Relations is responsible for addressing all accounts requesting closure and retaining the organization’s profitability. We are looking for a motivated supervisor to expand Merchant Relations performance capabilities. Candidates will be responsible for managing a team of 10-20 individuals including retention agents and administrative members.  Tasks include handling escalated issues, managing high-impact tasks, and improving documentation and administrative duties necessary for the team to be efficient and successful. The Supervisor will be responsible for planning the implementation of daily and weekly projects and mentoring team members.

  • Managing escalation channels to address Partner Support, Sales, and Marketing escalations.
  • Supporting the team, answering questions, and aiding agents in retaining merchants. 
  • Communicate with sales partners, vendors, and Shift4 departments to exhaust all options to retain merchants.
  • Communicating with management throughout all departments in the company.
  • Mentoring agents and improving team culture
  • Assist agents in setting and surpassing daily and monthly goals.
  • Resolving Management tickets/tasks
  • Managing data within Google Spreadsheets and various database applications.
  • Manage lead generation campaigns.
  • Generating weekly reporting

Qualifications

Skills Required

  • Exceptional time management and a strong sense of personal accountability.
  • Comfortable communicating with all departments in the company
  • Comfortable communicating with our sales force and technicians
  • Highly organized with great attention to detail.
  • Passion for high performance and efficiency.
  • Comfortable spending the majority of your time on the phone
  • Google app script and google sheet experience preferred

 

We will be interviewing applicants to determine candidates based on Shift4 knowledge, prior experience, and management ability.

 

Compensation & Benefits Include

  • Full Time/40-hour workweek, Monday – Friday (off weekends)
  • Competitive base salary and unlimited monthly bonuses/commission based on performance
  • Vacation & Personal Days/10+ Holidays Off/Early Dismissals
  • Health Benefits including vision, dental and 401k
  • $45,000 to $70,000 Annually (salary with commission)
